Design

Our team of experienced engineers, technicians, and project managers oversee each project. This "team" approach ensures that each system will be designed and manufactured to your specifications on time and within budget.

TCS has a proven track record with leading Fortune 500 customers throughout the United States and around the world. Whether your business is Pharmaceutical, Chemicals, or Plastic/Resins, TCS has designed "solutions" for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications that require safe and reliable heat transfer systems.

With over 100 years of combined experience solving some of the industry's toughest temperature control problems, our in-house design/engineering staff is available to offer engineering assistance, discuss ideas and answer any questions about your specific process needs.

Thermal Fluid High Temp Systems

TCU's with electric heaters and chilled water exchangers or air coolers provide tight temperature control for applications including:
   •
Resin and plastic platens
   • Extruders Hot melt exchangers
   •Temperatured sheet rolls
   •High speed printers
   •
Cooked food processing
These systems can be designed to reach temperatures to +750°F.

Manufacturing

Our 56,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machining and welding equipment geared for high-volume, fast turn around production. The design and engineering teams work closely with manufacturing to ensure consistent, quality products. Those products are backed by a complete after sales program of technical support and field service assistance.

To accommodate your diverse needs our Compact Modular TCU's (Temperature Control Units) incorporate a vast array of process, mechanical, and control strategies for reactor vessels, batch-type dryers, and other equipment. We offer a wide range of accessory products including:

  • Chillers Deaerator/Expansion Tanks TIC's and PLC's including DeltaVTM Control Systems Custom Steel or Stainless Steel ASME Code Vessels
  • IS0-9001 Certified

We have been ISO-9001 certified since 1993, an industry benchmark for superior quality delivered at all stages of manufacturing. Our plant is ASME certified and was awarded the Hartford Zero Defects Award by Hartford Steam Boiler in recognition of "Superior Quality".

Syltherm Systems

TCU's are often used in pharmaceutical applications for cyclical conditions ranging from -20°F to +400°F. Heat transfer and flow are calculated to generate optimal thermal and hydraulic performance. These units can include: expansion tank, integral deaerator, and thermal buffer section to reduce start-up time by eliminating steam, gases, and volatiles from the thermal oil. These systems are commonly used for reactor and condenser applications.

Validation

TCS Engineered Products can provide calibration and documentation to support Validation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), as well as detailed support documentation for manufacture and start-up.

In addition to detailed P&ID and AutoCAD drawings, factory calibration of certain instruments and data sheet approvals by inspectors are also available. TCS includes signed pressure testing reports on all vessels and piping. ASME and National Board Certificates are provided as standard documentation for all pressure vessels and heat exchangers.

Controls

Optional control packages are available on all TCS Systems. Our engineers are experienced with PLC programs and control packages can be fully integrated with existing PLC, DCS, and DeltaVTM* systems. Last but not least, our design engineers can customize a control package to work with your existing systems.
