Solutions: LN2000
Operating thermal fluids below -20°F using liquid nitrogen requires specialized process and mechanical design. LN2000TM technology by TCS is the solution. LN2000TM designs incorporate specialized components to allow for increased pipe stresses and hydraulic differentials caused by vast cyclic temperature swings in these units. Using specialized equipment, materials, and film temperature calculations, TCS produces guaranteed systems to temperatures as low as -150°F without freezing of the thermal fluid.
The LN2000TM systems may include specialty controls that meet hazardous area classifications, with customized PLC's for communication and monitoring.
TCS Engineered Products provide a single source "solution" for the design and manufacture of TCU's utilizing the LN2000TM technology.

Specialty Fluid Systems
This -150°F to +400°F system was designed for the R&D facility of a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. The application required specialty heat exchangers to heat and cool an alloy reactor. The instrumentation and controls are interfaced with the customer's DeltaVTM control platform. This temperature control unit has state-of-the-art technology making TCS the first to reach and master sustained temperatures to -150°F. |
Specialty Fluid Systems
The engineering expertise offered by TCS provided the best solution for this pharmaceutical application. This -100°F to +400°F system incorporates an integrated expansion tank, deaerator tank, and thermal buffer tank in conjunction with control valves and heat exchangers. Controls are Class I, Div. I, and Group C&D with a PLC for control and communication. |
